The assignment
This assignment required a review and redesign of the back end Supply Chain functions to formalize and standardize the operations. The group consisted of 12 individual companies that had been bought up as a mix of owned manufacturing plants and sourced suppliers, and now operated omni-channel sales under the same umbrella but with no formalized operating system. In conjunction with supporting the new ERP system, a Core/Context review led to a board approved project to outsource the warehousing operations and distribution functions.
